Welcome to the Queen City Fibre Festival. The QCFF started in October 2023 and has quickly become a larger event. The first festival took place at the Eastview Community Center and the place was packed! it was evident early on that a larger venue was needed for 2024. The next year the festival was held at the Hungarian Club. It was thought that this would be a place to grow it. Boy were we wrong. The fibre community again packed the venue. After some thought about the 2025 venue it was decided to ‘go big or go home’. The 2025 festival was held at the International Trade Center with 22,000 square feet to play with. The event was a roaring success. There was plenty of room for vendors and shoppers to wonder around and chat. There are some changes we are making to our 2026 festival to make it run smoother. It helps when you are in the same venue the next year.
The main portion of the event is the vendors. We have amazing fibre artists from across the prairies at the festival. Each year we add a few new faces.
The Queen City Fibre Festival is a not-for-profit event and year the QCFF raises funds for a local charity through a raffle. In the past we have helped Carmichael Outreach, the YWCA and Mobile Crisis Services. It is wonderful that the festival can also help the Regina Community. Angels4Warmth will be accepting yarn donations and finished items (hats, blankets, mittens, scarves and socks) to help keep those in need warm. If you are donating yarn, worsted weight is what is the most in demand.
There are educational booths at the festival where shoppers can learn about the wool industry and different fibre arts. We are proud to have The Prairie Fibreshed and Regina Weavers and Spinners Guild at the event each year.

We are finalizing our workshop details but we will for sure have a Steeking Workshop and a Needle Felted Pumpkin Workshop. More details will be coming soon.
This year the QCFF will be at the Bunge International Trade Center in Hall A. When you walk through the main glass doors we will be right there. Admission is $5 cash at the door. There is an ATM available on site.
For 2026 we are extending our shopping hours. People are welcome to come on October 23rd from 4pm to 8pm and October 24th from 10am to 4pm. If you attend on Friday and want to come back Saturday ask the gals at the front for a welcome back card to get in free for Saturday.
Looking forward to seeing you in October.
