A Prince Edward Island native now rooted on the Saskatchewan prairies, Shelly brings a personal connection to the Maritime roots of this craft. Deceptively simple to learn yet endlessly creative, rug hooking has captivated fibre artists for generations.

Shelly will share a brief history of the Maritime rug hooking tradition, followed by a live demo with vintage rugs and equipment on display.
